Clear High Heel Shoes

Clothes and accessories always send a message. You’re telling the world who you are. Some may be too dense to get the message, but nonetheless, to those in the know, you are broadcasting loud and clear.

Let’s take clear high heel shoes. You may see them all over the country adorning the feet of women as they go to work, go to school, and even go to the market. But the clear-heeled shoe is the ultimate wink. Granted, clear heels have been around for ages. Marilyn and Miss Mansfield both wore them in the ’50s, for heaven’s sake! However, it took strippers and pole dancers to put them on the fashion map.

Wearing a clear-heeled pump says to those in-the-know that you’ve got a secret. If you are wearing “those” shoes in public, what might you be wearing under that sweet, little skirt? Clear high-heel shoes look naughty and fun, and make the wearer feel just a little dangerous.

It’s no accident, incidentally, that clear-heeled pumps became favored by women who earn their living based on the beauty of their bodies. Clear-heeled shoes create an optical illusion that your legs are as much longer as the heels are high. Plus, the higher the heel, the more your breasts jut out in front, and your fanny compensates in back, resulting in what might be called, shall we say, “a provocative posture.” Adding to the illusion, in dim lighting, the heel of the shoe practically becomes invisible. This then gives the impression that, there you are, with your suddenly longer legs, tottering around adorably on your little tippie toes. “Whoops! Did I drop something? Let me bend over and get it!” Honey, he will faint.
